We can’t do it without you! Your gifts - both money and time - matter!
Donate
Annual Giving: our biggest fundraiser, the annual giving drive runs in the fall and provides reliable annual operating support to ensure our school can run the programs they need to thrive. No gift is too small – or too large!
Auction and Gala: a spring evening out for parents, the Auction and Gala brings the community together for food, drinks, and a live and silent auction, all in support of our school.
The Read-A-Thon (in winter) and other school events (like the book fair and Square 1 Art) are designed to make participation easy through smaller donations with rewards.
In the past, funds raised by the PTA have gone toward:
- Art, music, and dance classes -100% PTA funded!
- Curriculum enhancements
- School library and books
- Teacher professional development
- Celebratory and cultural performances
- Cooking classes
- School-wide hygiene supplies
- Technology and hardware
- School trips to museums, shows, and special events
- Author visits
- And much, much more!
Donations to the PTA are eligible for corporate matching.
Please check to see if your employer will match your donation!
Volunteer
We have volunteer opportunities for everyone, no matter how much time you have to give. Volunteering is a meaningful way to support the school and one of the best ways to connect with other families in our community.
PTA Meetings
Hear from our Principal and stay informed about what’s happening at school now and in the future. Join our monthly PTA meetings, generally held on Fridays, in person and virtually.
Low-Commitment Volunteering
Only have one or five hours to give? We have something for you! Get involved in preparing, running or cleaning up one or many events. Volunteer at the school library. Support teacher appreciation activities. Become a class parent. Even a small time commitment makes a big impact.
Leadership Opportunities
We offer event chair positions and small committee roles with manageable, clearly defined responsibilities. From running the Chess Program or Square 1 Art fundraiser, to planning schoolwide events like the Halloween Parade or the Gala, there’s truly something for everyone.
Join the Board
The Executive Board sets the direction for the PTA and spearheads our many initiatives. It’s a rewarding way to support your child’s learning while building strong relationships with families at the school. Members attend two meetings a month and help run PTA programs and events. Elections are held each June, and roles range in scope and responsibility.
